City of Merced offices will be closed Monday, December 25, 2023, and Monday, January 1, 2024. This includes the Merced Civic Center and other City departments.

There will be no refuse, yard waste, or curbside recycling collections by City crews on these days. Collections throughout the City will be delayed one day from the regular schedule.

Public Safety staff will continue to perform regular operations. City Fire and Police Department offices will be closed to the public. Call 911 for emergencies and (209) 385-6906 for non-emergency police services.

City offices will resume regular hours on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, following the Christmas holiday and Tuesday, January 2, 2024, following the New Year’s holiday.
