The MFD's 88 uniformed personnel protect life, property, and the environment through their direct involvement in fire prevention, firefighting, emergency medical care, technical rescue, hazardous materials mitigation, disaster response, public education, and community service.
Our civilian cadre of five professional support personnel provides technical and administrative expertise in their corresponding pursuit of the Department's Mission.
Last year along, MFD's personnel responded 11,256 times to come to the aid of their neighbors in need.
